ABOUT

CommonWealth Education Media & Publishing

Building a community of innovative learning for parents, children, and educators.

In 2006, CommonWealth Publishing Group began its education division by launching an array of popular children’s books featuring local authors and book designers. Two years later, CommonWealth introduced the first issue of “Parenting Bimonthly” magazine, covering issues on Taiwan’s education system as well as education trends around the world. Parenting Bimonthly’s website also features articles and interviews with renowned education advocates, school teachers, and notable family care experts. As a result, we have successfully built a strong community of parents, educators, scholars, and education policy makers.

In 2015, to better serve parents and educators in Taiwan, CommonWealth’s education division formally separated its businesses and formed the CommonWealth Education Media & Publishing Co., Ltd. Since the spinoff, CommonWealth Education Media & Publishing has greatly expanded our product line and service offerings for parents and children, including:

  1. Monthly “Little Planet” magazine for three- to six-year olds
  2. Annual publication of over 100 children’s book titles
  3. Storytime app with over 2,000 original songs in Mandarin
  4. Online video courses for parents
  5. Children’s events, workshops, and camps
  6. E-commerce website
  7. Educational conferences
  8. IP rights management

IP RIGHTS MANAGEMENT

At CommonWealth Education Media & Publishing, our IP rights management team are focused on enabling local artists and storytellers to tell their stories in all possible formats. We are seeking partners who can take story book characters and form new relationships, products, or services with the audience. Collaborative opportunities are not limited to character licensing into audio stories, stationaries, accessories, and board games. Other forms that have proven to create truly immersive experiences for both the young and experienced are interactive workshops, themed events, theatre performances, and musical productions. If you or your company is interested in learning more about how our licensing services can meet your business needs, please reach out to us here.
